Early Years Foundation Stage – Expressive Arts and Design
The educational programme for expressive arts and design, set out in the EYFS Framework, is delivered in our preschool and reception classes in line with the Extend Nursery and Preschool Curriculum and the Extend Reception Curriculum
Key Stage 1 and 2 – Design and technology
We follow the national curriculum.
In Year 1, we teach design and technology in line with our multi-academy trust’s ‘Extend Early Curriculum’.
We follow the Plan Bee scheme of work to teach design and technology in Year 2-6.
We alternate teaching design and technology with teaching art and design on a half termly basis.
